Set up your profile (age, gender, height, weight, fitness goals)
Log food, workouts and health metrics
Upload photos (profile pictures, progress photos, food photos)
Post in the community or send direct messages

We also automatically collect certain information when you use the App:

Device information (device type, operating system)
Usage data (features used, time spent in app)
GPS location data (only when using the Flight Path GPS feature, with your permission)
Step count data (only when using the Taxiway Step Counter, with your permission)
Camera access (only when scanning barcodes or taking photos, with your permission)

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider with enterprise grade security. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.

All data is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS
Passwords are never stored in plain text
Progress photos are stored privately and only accessible by you
Payment information is handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers
We regularly review and update our security practices

⚠️ While we implement strong security measures no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but we strive to protect your information using industry standard practices.

🤝 Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in these limited circumstances:

With service providers who help us operate the app (Supabase, Stripe, Anthropic AI)
When required by law or to protect our legal rights
With your explicit consent
In connection with a merger or acquisition of G2G Productions

Community posts and content you choose to share publicly are visible to other MacroPilot users. Direct messages are private and only visible to the sender and recipient.

🤖 AI Features & Data

MacroPilot uses Anthropic's Claude AI for premium features including the AI Personal Coach and AI Food Scanner. When you use these features:

Your profile data and goals may be sent to the AI to generate personalized recommendations
Food photos you scan are processed by the AI to identify nutritional content
Progress photos you choose to analyze are sent to the AI for comparison
AI interactions are not stored permanently beyond your session

Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle data sent to their AI systems. We only send the minimum data necessary to provide the requested feature.

⚖️ Your Rights & Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access — you can view all your data within the app
Correction — you can update your profile and information at any time
Deletion — you can delete your account and all associated data
Portability — you can request a copy of your data
Opt out — you can disable GPS, camera and motion permissions in your device settings

🗑️ Account & Data Deletion — You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing privacy@macropilot.app with the subject line "Delete My Account". All personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request. This includes your profile, food logs, workout logs, progress photos, community posts and all other data associated with your account.

👶 Children's Privacy

MacroPilot is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information please contact us immediately and we will take steps to remove that information.

🏥 Health & Fitness Data

MacroPilot collects health and fitness related data including weight, body measurements, food intake, exercise data and GPS routes. This data is used solely to provide the app's features and is never sold to insurance companies, employers or other third parties.
